Serbian team for Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow:

MARKO KON

Composer, lyricist, arranger, producer and performer.
Born on April 20, 1972.
He founded his first band when he was nine years old. Marko plays the clarinet, pipe, saxophone, guitar, bass guitar and drums. He met Aleksandar Kobac and they formed one of the most successful duos in the history of Serbian popular music. Marko Kon has written more than 800 songs for numerous popular musicians and sang backup vocals on over 1,000 recordings.
Together with the band Flamingosi, Marko won the Beovizija 2006. He was a co-arranger and co-producer of the song performed by Stefan Filipovic, who represented Montenegro at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade.
He has made his singing debut with the song "Shoe".

MILAN NIKOLIĆ

Instrumentalist and composer.
Born in Jagodina on July 2, 1979.
He spent his childhood in Paris where he started studying music. Milan graduated from the Music Conservatory in Paris (2004). He won the award as the best accordionist of Serbia several times. Milan performed at numerous concerts and accompanied famous singers. He has released five solo albums of instrumental music.
Milan has been working with Kon and Kobac for the last couple of years. The song "Shoe" is the result of their successful cooperation. He lives and works in Belgrade.

LJUBIŠA DINČIĆ

Backup vocalist and dancer.
Born on May 19, 1968. He was a member of several well-known Belgrade choirs (''Abrasevic'',''Lola'') and the Serbian Military Choir. Ljubisa occasionally sings in the choir of the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation - RTS. He has been a choir soloist at the „Terazije“ Theatre since 1993 and appeared in films, TV series and musicals (''Chorus line'', ''Chicago'', ''Cabaret'', ''Fiddler on the Roof '').

IGOR KNEŽEVIĆ

Backup vocalist and dancer.

Igor was born in Kladovo on March 28, 1973. He is a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. Igor has worked as an English teacher, interpreter and he also synchronised cartoons. He was a member of a famous Serbian choir for ten years.

He lives and works in Belgrade.

JOVAN SENJANOVIĆ

Backup vocalist and dancer.
Jovan was born in Kladovo on May 29, 1971. He entered the world of music as a soloist of the Children's Choir. Choir singing has been his passion ever since. He was a member of the most famous Belgrade choirs - ''Abrasevic'', ''Lola'', ''RTS''. He sang backup vocals for numerous music stars. He is one of the founders of the Arts & Norma Association aimed at protecting the rights of musicians and struggling against piracy. He is a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade.

KATARINA GROMILIĆ

Ballet dancer.
Born in Belgrade on April 18, 1983. She attended the ballet school "Lujo Davico" and graduated in 2002.
She became a member of the Ballet Ensemble of the “Terazije” Theater in Belgrade. Katarina performed in numerous musicals, including "Chicago", "Cabaret", "Gypsies Are Found Near Heaven" and "Kiss me, Kate". She has participated in the Beovizija Music Festival since 2005 as a ballet dancer and performed with famous pop musicians.
As a member of the Ballet Ensemble, she participated in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest which was held in Belgrade. She performed with Marija Serifovic, the winner of the 2007 ESC.
She is a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.

ALEKSANDAR KOBAC

Composer.
Aleksandar Milanovic Kobac was born in Belgrade on April 25, 1971. Music became his primary focus while he was studying Art History and Sociology. Then he met Marko Kon and they started working together on various music projects. With several hit songs released at the end of the 1990’s he gained recognition in Serbia and neighbouring countries. He has worked with leading musicians from the former Yugoslavia and has composed, arranged and produced over 1,500 songs. Aleksandar has been working in close cooperation with his friend Marko Kon for 15 years. He was nicknamed Kobac (sparrow hawk) after a famous cartoon character.
