Svi ljubitelji dobrog latino zvuka imaće priliku da 11. jula uživaju u muzici Karlosa Santane! Beogradu je pripala čast da bude domaćin jednog od koncerata u okviru svetske turneje Supernatural Santana a Trip Through the Hits.
Kako saznajemo, virtuoz na gitari će nastupiti sa desetočlanim bendom koga čine: Čester Tompson (klavijature), Beni Ritveld (bas), Denis Čejmbers (bubnjevi), Endi Vargas (vokal), Karl Peraco (perkusije), Bil Ortiz (truba), Džef Krisman (trombon), Tomi Entoni (gitara), Raul Rekov (kongo) i Toni Lindzi (vokal).
Rođen kao sin marijači violiniste, Karlos kreće stopama svog oca i svira violinu već sa svojih pet godina. A nekoliko godina kasnije, kada se njegova porodica preselila u Tihuanu, počinje da svira instrument koji će ga proslaviti širom sveta – gitaru. Danas, u Autlan de Navaro, mestu gde je Santana rođen, ulica i trg nose njegovo ime.
Skoro 40 godina ovaj svetski poznati muzičar, se iznova poigrava sa različitim muzičkim žanrovima opravdavajući autorstvo koncepta world music.
60-ih godina prošlog veka, oformio je bend Santana Bluz Bend, koji veoma brzo postaje poznat, a posebno je bio zapažen njihov nastup na Vudstoku 1969. godine. Od tada, usledila su mnoga priznanja, između ostalih 10 Gremi nagrada. Santana je prodao preko 90 miliona ploča i nastupio je pred više od 100 miliona ljudi.
Ovaj put, u okviru turneje, promoviše kompilacijski album "Multi-Dimensional Warrior", ali ćemo za nekoliko dana, uživati i u hitovima - Jingo i Evil Ways (koji se "vrte" po nosačima zvuka više od 30 godina), zatim Oye Como Va, The Game Of Love, No One To Depend On, kao i vrelim pesmama Smooth, Maria Maria i Corazon Espinado sa albuma Supernatural, koji je prodat u više od 25 miliona primeraka!
Koncert će se održati u Donjem gradu na Kalemegdanu, dok je pocetak zakazan za 21h. Karte su podeljene u dve kategorije, parter po ceni od 3900 i Wave breacker (odnosno prostor ispred bine) po ceni od 5900 dinara, a možete ih kupiti u Bilet servisu, ili putem Eventim-a i Ticketline-a.
