Kao gosti festivala nastupili su prošlogodišnji pobednici i predstavnici Norveške na Pesmi Evrovizije u Beču – Debrah i Morland, kao i neki prethodni predstavnici te države na Evrosongu. Nakon ponovnog glasanja, pročitani su rezultati glasanja po regionima, te je ukupan rezultat izgledao ovako:

Agnete je bila ubedljiv pobednik Melodi Grand Prix festivala, pa će u Stokholmu predstavljati Norvešku u drugom polufinalu koje će se održati 12. maja. Kako se vama čini pobednička pesma?

How are your preparations for Melodi Grand Prix going so far?

- The preparations are going very well – somehow this whole process has felt just right and kind of easy so far – everything from my decision to join – to the outfit I’ll be wearing, the collaborations with the whole Eurovision team. They are all so professional and sweet. It makes it so easy for me. Feels like we are all pulling in the same direction.

Can you reveal us some details about how is your performance going to look like on the stage?

- I will let the song speak for itself – I will be alone on stage. There will be a show, but hopefully one that catches the emotion. You’ll see. I can’t wait to perform it in the Spektrum!

Tell us something about the lyrics of the song. What meaning do they have for you?

- The song is very special to me. I went through some difficult times the last 2 years. I had to deal with a lot of loss. And… in a way I guess I wrote this song as a prayer for better times. Not in a religious way. Just like… something positive has got to happen now. And in a way – the prayers were answered. Like the Universe was listening. ;) So much has happened since and I feel really great at the moment.

Have you heard other songs from the competition? Do you have any favorites?

- Yes, I have heard them all! I think it will be a very good show. Amazing artists this year. I always loved Stage Dolls back in the day and it’s cool that they are in this years mix. And I can’t wait to see the show from The Hungry Hearts’ performance. They might blow us away. I am going to a concert with them here in Berlin next week too. Excited :)

Do you think you can win Melodi Grand Prix?

- I think it’s anyone’s game. I’m not worried about losing or winning. I want to give people the best show I can. After this show… All the songs will still be out there for people to enjoy. I have written music all my life and I will after this. Music is forever. This competition is for only 1 night ;)

Can you tell something to our readers that not many people know about you?

- I play Frisbee golf… hooked. And I wrote a musical once, haha :D Oh, and my ex-roomie and good friend Ana Gemović is from Serbia. And she is also in my band in my video that just came out. Playing drums. So cool :)

What are your future career plans?

- I’m doing my album right now. I wanna tour again this year. Then I’m gonna grow up. Finally.

Kako teku tvoje pripreme za Melodi Grand Prix festival?

- Za sada sve ide po planu, nekako ceo proces izgleda ispravno i sve ide lagano – od mog prijavljivanja na festival, do autfita koji ću da nosim i sarađivanjem sa celim mojim evrovizijskim timom. Svi su jako profesionalni i dragi. To mi tako olakšava stvari. Osećam kao da svi idemo u istom smeru sa istom ambicijom.

Možeš li da nam otkriješ neke detalje u vezi sa izgledom tvog nastupa?

- Biću sama na sceni, dozvoliću da pesma sve sama kaže. To će biti nastup koji će izazvati emocije publike, barem se tako nadam. Videćete. Jedva čekam da nastupim u Spektrum areni!

Reci nam nešto o tekstu tvoje pesme. Da li ima neko posebno značenje tebi?

- Pesma mi veoma znači. Prošla sam kroz jako težak period u poslednje dve godine. Suočavala sam se sa mnogim gubicima. I… pretpostavljam da sam napisala ovu pesmu da bih se lakše izborila sa tim teškim trenucima, da bude poput neke moje molitve za bolja vremena. Ali ne religijska molitva… vapaj za nečim pozitivnim. I na neki način molitva je uslišena. Kao da me je Univerzum slušao :) Mnogo toga se dogodilo od tada, i trenutno se jako dobro osećam.

Da li si čula ostale pesme sa festivala? Imaš li neke favorite?

- Da, sve sam ih preslušala. Mislim da će ovo biti sjajan festival! Ivođači su sjajni ove godine. Oduvek sam volela Stage Dolls i super je što će i oni učestvovati. Jedva čekam da vidim i nastup The Hungry Hearts. Možda nas oduvaju svojim izvođenjem. Idem sa njima na koncert u Berlin, i jako sam uzbuđena zbog toga :)

Da li misliš da možeš da pobediš na Melodi Grand Prix-u?

- Mislim da svako može da pobedi. Ne opterećuje me ishod takmičenja. Jednostavno želim da dam publici svoj maksimum. Nakon festivala sve će pesme biti dostupne publici da ih sluša i dalje i uživa u njima. Stvarala sam muziku pre festivala, stvaraću i posle. Muzika je večna, takmičenje je samo na jednu noć.

Možeš li otkriti nešto našim čitaocima što mali broj ljudi zna o tebi?

- Igram frizbi-golf, navučena sam na tu igru. Jednom sam čak napisala i mjuzikl, haha :D Moja bliska prijateljica i bivša cimerka Ana Gemović je iz Srbije. Ona svira bubnjeve u bendu u videu koji je danas izašao.

Koji su tvoji planovi za karijeru u budućnosti?

- Radim na svom novom albumu. Želim na još jednu turneju. Onda ću da odrastem… konačno.
