PZE ’26 Fan Wishes: Will Aladin get a successor and are Harem Girls ready for a second try?

Dear Eurovision fans and enthusiasts, welcome to the new edition of the „PZE ’26 Fan Wishes“ segment!

While yesterday we analysed why the return of Jelena Tomašević would be a perfect match for Serbia’s representative, based on vocal quality and ethno-pop strength, today we are moving in a completely different direction.

Our goal in this segment is to thoroughly examine the potential of those performers that fans most eagerly wish to see on the Pesma za Evroviziju stage. We analyse their assets, style, energy, and, naturally, their ability to make a strong impression on the European audience.

If Jelena Tomašević is synonymous with vocal dignity, today’s choice is synonymous with visual spectacle, courage, and boundary-pushing! With Eurovision constantly seeking innovation and powerful stage expression, it’s time to see why many fans want the return of showbiz masters.

That is precisely why the drag collective Harem Girls stands out as the second fan wish for PZE ’26.

Second Wish: Harem Girls

Harem Girls is a group that brings a complete novelty to our national selection, primarily through the promotion of drag art—a stage expression that combines costumes, makeup, dance, and music.

The group consists of one woman and five drag queens (men costumed as women) under the stage names: Titta Foureira, Lefkada Tsunami, Lady Siren, Lola Love, Nina Lee, and Nastasja Filipovna.

Each of them brings their own energy, story, and style, and together they create a unique blend of glamour, satire, and stage explosiveness. Their work transcends the boundaries of a music contest—it is a movement that promotes love, inclusion, freedom, and art without prejudice. Their biggest advantage is their high production value, which is reflected in complex choreographies, dynamic stage presence, and bold visual expression.

The style of Harem Girls is defined as commercial, up-tempo pop with R&B/trap elements, but the essence of their performance is avant-garde drag aesthetics. They bring something never before seen to the domestic scene, while offering the European audience a performance that perfectly aligns with the Eurovision trend of embracing diversity and top-tier showbiz. Their ambition is to make drag acceptable in Serbia.

What sets them apart is their unified dance energy and the fact that they are more than just singing. Eurovision is a contest that requires a complete audio-visual experience, and Harem Girls are made for this format, bringing the energy of world-class „girl-band“ groups.

Performance at PZE-u 25

The group already debuted at Pesma za Evroviziju 2025 with the song „Aladin“ and immediately attracted public attention and numerous reactions, given that it was the first drag performance in PZE history.

The song they performed brought a touch of Oriental aesthetics, combined with a contemporary arrangement and a catchy chorus. Harem Girls showed that the domestic music scene has room for original and brave artists who are not afraid to experiment and push the boundaries between the traditional and the modern.

Their appearance at PZE 2025 remains memorable not only for the staging but also for the very idea they conveyed—freedom of expression, femininity, and strength through art. That’s why many fans wish to see them on stage again, perhaps with an even more ambitious concept that could conquer both the domestic and European audience.

In the PZE final, they achieved outstanding success, finishing 2nd overall, by taking 2nd place in the public vote with 15,871 SMS votes and 4th place with the jury.

The experience from PZE 2025 makes them extremely mature candidates for PZE ’26. They demonstrated that they have immense public support and are capable of creating a spectacle that is unforgettable.

The extent to which Harem Girls won over the fans is evident in the fact that their song „Aladin“ received the prestigious OGAE Serbia Award 2025 for the best composition of the festival, even beating the official representative. This award, presented by the official association of Eurovision fans, is proof that „Aladin“ had huge potential and popularity among those who closely follow the contest.

By winning this award, Harem Girls also earned the right to represent Serbia at the international competition OGAE Second Chance 2025, where they finished 16th out of 25 possible entries.

The return of Harem Girls would be a comeback with a clear goal: to bring an even stronger, bolder song, perhaps largely in English, and to prove that drag art is the right path to Eurovision success. Their willingness to take risks and push boundaries are assets that could bring Serbia high scores from the younger European audience and the juries.
