While we are eagerly awaiting Radio-televizija Srbije to announce the call for entries for Pesma za Evroviziju 2026, it’s the perfect time to remind ourselves of the biggest hits from this festival and take a musical trip down memory lane. The competition for the Serbian representative at Eurovision, the popular PZE, has, over the past years, spawned true hits that have dominated YouTube trends and left a deep mark on the hearts of the audience.
Although PZE is a young festival, the successor to Beovizija, it has managed to quickly become a central event on the domestic music scene. It is not just a competition, but a platform that promotes diversity, courage, and innovation. From avant-garde performances to emotional ballads, each song bears the seal of authenticity, and the audience recognizes and rewards that.
Every year, we witness how tracks from PZE break viewership records. The number of views on YouTube has become a measure of success and popularity, with some songs recording figures in the millions. It is based on these views that we have compiled a list of the most listened-to hits from the Pesma za Evroviziju festival from 2022 to 2025.
Over the years, the Pesma za Evroviziju festival has established itself as an indispensable platform for musical talent, attracting both established stars and entirely new voices. Many performers, previously unknown to the wider public, have gained immense popularity precisely because of their performance on this stage.
At PZE, we had the opportunity to see an incredible spectrum of performers. From big names like Konstrakta and Sara Jo, to experienced musicians such as Aca Lukas and Lena Kovačević, all the way to the new generation that conquered the top charts – Breskvica, Teya Dora, Džordži, and Princ. The tracks by Zorja, Zejna, and Angelina also left an indelible mark. Regardless of their placement, their songs, as well as the songs of many others, have become true YouTube hits, confirming that PZE is much more than a simple competition.
YouTube as a measure of popularity
Based on the number of views on the festival’s official YouTube channel, a list of the most listened-to songs was created. The combined views of official video performances from the festival and the song releases on the PZE channel served as a metric for creating a ranking that shows the popularity of the tracks among the audience.
At the very top of the list, two tracks dominate, having crossed the magical barrier of 20 million views, which makes them the absolute record-holders of the festival.
The absolute crown of the most listened-to song belongs to Breskvica with the track „Gnezdo orlovo“ from 2024, which with a total of 23,130,195 views broke all previous records. Although it has been two years since her participation, this song still records millions of views.

Konstrakta follows closely with the song „In Corpore Sano“ from 2022, which has an impressive 20,790,015 views, confirming the exceptional success and popularity of this track among the domestic audience. This track not only became a hit but also a true sociological phenomenon that captivated not only Serbia but also audiences across the Balkans and Europe. At Eurovision itself, it won 5th place, which is the most successful song from PZE.

On the third spot, with almost 14 million views, is Sara Jo with the song „Muškarčina“ from 2022. Although she did not represent Serbia, this track became one of the biggest hits of the PZE festival and was the most listened to on all digital platforms and radio stations. Sara Jo once again proved that she is one of the biggest music stars in the region, and her song became a real hit.
These tracks have stood out as absolute champions in terms of listening numbers and have become a hallmark of the festival.

The winner isn’t always the most listened-to: Songs that conquered YouTube but not PZE
An analysis of the list of the most listened-to songs from PZE reveals an interesting fact: the winning song isn’t always the one that ends up at the top of the charts. Many tracks that didn’t get to represent Serbia at Eurovision became genuine million-view hits and surpassed their competitors in popularity on YouTube.
The best example of this is Breskvica with the song „Gnezdo orlovo“, which has an impressive number of views despite not winning the competition. The situation is similar with Sara Jo and her track „Muškarčina,“ which became an absolute hit on digital platforms. Angelina with the song „Origami,“ Zorja with her track „Zorja,“ Zejna with „Najbolja“ and „Rumba,“ as well as Mimi Mercedez with „Turbo zurka,“ are also proof that popularity and millions of views don’t depend exclusively on winning the festival.
All of these songs have found their way to the audience and live on long after the competition itself.

Which year was the most successful?
Analyzing the list, we can easily notice that two years particularly dominated in terms of the number of hits and total views.
The most songs in the TOP 20 list, a total of seven, come from 2024. This confirms that it was an exceptionally successful year for PZE, not only in terms of the number of tracks that made the list but also in their popularity. Two tracks, „Gnezdo orlovo“ and „Ramonda“, were in the spotlight both before and after the competition, which further contributed to their success.
In second place for the number of hits, but first in total views, is 2022. With six songs in the TOP 20, this year amassed an incredible 51,358,345 views. This was largely thanks to the song „In Corpore Sano“, which broke all records and became an absolute audience favorite.
Trailing them are 2023 with four tracks and 2025 with three tracks in the TOP 20. However, both years show that the festival’s popularity is not waning, but that PZE continues to surprise and create new hits year after year.
Will PZE 2026 manage to break these records, and will we get a new absolute champion in terms of views? Only time will tell.
