About the song

„Svet u mojim očima“ (or „The World In My Eyes“ in English) is a song about romance, and Emilija’s love for a boy who she’s not sure about if it’s just in her dreams, or if it’s reality. She wonders if this lucky boy knows that he is the world in her eyes. The song is performed in Serbian, but part of the song translates as follows:

I can’ t hide

Everybody knows

The way I look at you

In my dreams

I wonder if you can see that

You are the world in my eyes

On stage

Emilija is going to be alone on stage. The first part of the song will be more intimate and romantic, and she will be playing the piano. Once she stands up and continues her song, Emilija will give a more colourful performance, and show her true power – her voice.
