This year, OGAE Serbia is returning stronger and more determined than ever to find a song that will fully represent the domestic music scene – and perhaps, for the first time, bring victory to our country at this prestigious competition.

The selection lasted for just over a month and was filled with uncertainty, but in the end, Milica Pavlović with her song „Ona nosi Pradu“ won in the super-final.

Road to victory: From 48 songs to one

This year, OGAE Serbia took a big step forward by organizing a selection of 48 songs, carefully chosen based on their relevance, popularity, originality, and Eurovision potential. All OGAE club members, as well as registered members of the Evropesma forum, were able to propose songs to be included in the Serbian selection. In four semifinals, big names from the domestic scene competed, and the voting was divided into three audience groups:

  • 50% of votes were given by OGAE Serbia members
  • 25% of votes were given by followers of the Instagram profile @ogaeserbia
  • 25% of votes were given by members of the Evropesma forum

From each semifinal, the four most successful entries advanced to the grand final, reducing the number of competitors to 16.

Super-final: The moment of decision

After the final voting, the top three songs„Ona nosi Pradu“ by Milica Pavlović, „Ludilo moje“ by Jovana Pajić, and „Çok Güzel“ by Tea Tairović – advanced to the super-final. In this final stage, only OGAE Serbia members had the right to vote.

Their votes brought a convincing victory to Milica Pavlović. With 39% of the votes, Milica surpassed the runner-up Jovana Pajić (32%) and the third-place Tea Tairović (29%). This result shows that „Ona nosi Pradu“ has the potential not only to attract the attention of the domestic audience but also to achieve notable success on the international stage.

Now, it remains to be seen whether Milica will follow in the footsteps of Aleksandra Prijović, who finished in 15th place with her song „Dam, Dam, Dam“ last year, and whether she might bring Serbia its first-ever victory at this prestigious competition.

With Milica Pavlović and the song „Ona nosi Pradu“, Serbia is ready to shine at the OGAE Song Contest 2025!

What is OGAE Song Contest?

OGAE Song Contest is an annual competition where OGAE clubs from all over the world present songs that have no connection to the Eurovision Song Contest. This means that a song must not have participated in a national selection or in the Eurovision Song Contest itself. This competition serves as an excellent window into current music production and showcases the latest European music trends.

The rules are clear: the song must be released in the current or previous calendar year, must be shorter than five minutes, and must be in the official language of the country it represents. Members of each club select their representative through internal voting.

The host of this year’s competition is OGAE Italy, after their representative, Annalisa, won last year with the song „Euforia,“ scoring 197 points.

Last year, Serbia was represented by Aleksandra Prijović with the song „Dam, Dam, Dam,“ which took 15th place with 34 points.
