The Eurovision calendar doesn’t end with the final in May! Besides the Eurovision Song Contest, one of the most prestigious and eagerly awaited online competitions in the Eurovision community is undoubtedly the OGAE Song Contest.
This annual competition brings together fan clubs from all over the world to promote music that has no connection to Eurovision selections. This year marks its 39th edition. The host of the competition is OGAE Italy, which triumphed last year with the hit „Euforia“ performed by Annalisa.
Fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the full list of participants, and finally, everything is ready! This year’s competition brings a richer and more diverse list of artists and songs.
OGAE Serbia will be represented at this year’s OGAE Song Contest by the popular Milica Pavlović with the song „Ona nosi Pradu„. The track, which captured the hearts of audiences and dominated the charts last year and this year, was chosen as the best option for our country.

A total of 29 OGAE clubs will participate in the 2025 competition, which is five more than the previous year.
In addition to returning participants, this year’s competition welcomes OGAE clubs from Albania, Ireland, Ukraine, Romania, Estonia, and Lithuania, while representatives from Bulgaria are absent.

As in previous years, representatives from the former Yugoslav republics are drawing special attention, as their fan clubs have once again actively joined the competition.
In addition to OGAE Serbia, represented by Milica Pavlović, OGAE clubs from Slovenia, North Macedonia, and Croatia are also participating in the OGAE Song Contest 2025.
OGAE Slovenia will be represented by Raiven with the song „Hedonista“, OGAE North Macedonia by the popular Lozano with the track „Bariera“ and from OGAE Croatia, a familiar face returns – Baby Lasagna.
Following his spectacular success at Eurovision, Baby Lasagna will defend his country’s colors once again, this time with the song „Biggie Boom Boom„. His participation has further boosted interest in this competition and certainly makes him one of the main favourites.
What is the OGAE Song Contest?
The OGAE Song Contest is one of the oldest and most prestigious competitions within the international network of Eurovision fan clubs. Unlike national selections and the Eurovision Song Contest itself, the rule is clear in this competition – the song must not have any connection to Eurovision or national selections. This way, the competition focuses exclusively on promoting current music productions and artists, giving the audience a chance to discover the most popular and highest-quality hits from each country.
Representatives are chosen by a vote of the national OGAE club members, which makes the competition a true reflection of the musical trends and tastes of Eurovision fans across Europe and beyond. This is why the OGAE Song Contest is often called the „Eurovision without Eurovision.“
The competition has been held continuously since 1986, and was only cancelled in 2022 due to the war in Ukraine. The rules state that songs must have been released in the current or previous year, and the maximum length is five minutes.
The host of the current edition is OGAE Italy, as this section won the competition last year. The popular singer Annalisa triumphed with the song „Euforia„, which collected an impressive 197 points in the final.
OGAE Serbia has been participating regularly in this competition since 1999 and has achieved a number of notable results. In the last edition, our country was represented by Aleksandra Prijović with the hit „Dam Dam Dam„ and among a field of over twenty countries, she took 15th place with a total of 34 points.
