The Eurovision season may be over, but fans gathered around the OGAE network have another exciting chapter ahead – the voting for the OGAE Second Chance Contest 2025 has officially begun!
This year’s 39th edition of the popular alternative Eurovision contest is being hosted by OGAE Italy, following last year’s victory by Annalisa and her song “Sinceramente.”
With this, Italy secured its fourth win in the history of the Second Chance Contest, and Annalisa made history as only the second performer to win the contest twice, following Swedish group Alcazar.
Who’s competing this year?
Eligible countries are those that held national selections during the season, but whose selected entries didn’t make it to Eurovision. Instead, their OGAE fan clubs choose favorite “non-winners,” giving them a true “second chance” in this special competition.
This year, 25 fan clubs are taking part, including one debutant – Luxembourg, participating in the Second Chance Contest for the first time ever!
Here are the competing entries:
San Marino (OGAE Rest of the World): Besa – “Tiki”
Greece: BARBZ – “Sirens”
Lithuania: Lion Ceccah – “Drobė”
Sweden: Klara Hammarström – “On and On and On”

A full YouTube playlist is available for this year’s contest entries.
In addition to OGAE clubs, the voting process also includes guest juries – clubs from countries without national selections or without participation in Eurovision that year.
Although Montenegro held a national selection for Eurovision this year, it is unable to take part in the 2025 Second Chance Contest due to the absence of an active OGAE club.
Serbia and the “Second Chance”
This year, Serbia will be represented by Harem Girls with the song “Aladin.” The entry was selected by the OGAE Serbia fan club on February 28, through the club’s traditional voting for the OGAE Serbia Award for the Best Song at “Pesma za Evroviziju 25.”
Harem Girls were chosen among several notable entries, and the full results of that vote are available HERE.
